Privacy: what we do not collect.

Most privacy policies describe what a company takes. This one is short because the list is short.

Short answer

There are no accounts on this site. Links you paste answer that one request and are not tied to an identity. Three things do leave: a hashed IP for rate limiting, held about a minute, Google Analytics, which counts visits and sets cookies, and Adsterra, which serves the ad banners.

What we do not collect

  • No accounts, so no names, emails, or passwords exist to hold.
  • No advertising profile built from what you do here — Adsterra’s banners load independently of your downloads and never see the links you paste.
  • No account, so nothing you download is ever attached to a person.
  • No history of what you downloaded, because there is no account to attach it to.

What we do process

The link you paste is sent to our server so the video can be read, and it is discarded once the answer is returned. Basic technical details of a post — its formats and sizes — are cached for a few hours so a popular link does not have to be fetched repeatedly.

For rate limiting, your IP address is hashed and the hash is held for roughly a minute. The original address is not written down, and the hash cannot be reversed into one.

Third parties

The site is served from Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver pages and may keep its own operational logs.

Google Analytics runs on every page. It records which pages are opened, roughly where from, and which browser — and it sets cookies to tell a returning visitor from a new one. It does not receive the links you paste. Google is the data processor for this, under its own terms.

A small number of ad banners are served by Adsterra in a few spots on the page, and one link opens in a new tab when you tap a download button. There are no social widgets and no embedded fonts fetched from elsewhere. Browser-level tracking protection and ad blockers stop the Analytics and ad requests, and the downloader keeps working when they do.

Your choices

Because nothing is tied to an identity, there is no account to delete and no export to request — there would be nothing in it. Clearing your browser storage removes the theme preference, which is the only thing we leave behind.

Frequently asked questions

Do you keep the links I paste?

No. A link is used for that one request and is not stored against you in any form.

Do you use cookies?

Yes — Google Analytics sets them to tell repeat visits from new ones. Our own storage holds only your light or dark theme choice, and that never leaves your browser.

Do you log IP addresses?

Only as a short-lived hash used to stop abuse. The address itself is not written down.

Does TikTok learn that I downloaded something?

Our server fetches the video, not your browser, so the request does not come from your address or your session.
